29th January: KTV with strangers

NinaBarbaraLi Zi 莉子 and I wanted to go to a KTV but they told us that they didn’t have any rooms left. When we were about to leave a Chinese girl suddenly asked us if we wanted to sing with her and her friend because they took the last room (a room for 6-8 people) and suggested that we just split the bill. Well, we didn’t have anything else to do, so we just followed her.

She introduced us to her friend and there was this horrible awkward silence but as soon as she said that we should just choose a few songs Nina sprinted to the machine and was busy selecting songs xD It was fun and both of them were really nice. I have never imagined that one day I would sing with complete strangers…

27th January: Lost A Game

Nina and I visited Hiroki, who stayed at his friend’s house, who is super cool! He made us awesome dinner (spagetthi and Hot Pot, never thought I’d eat that for one dinner but oh man was that good) and he showed us his sketchbook, where he writes stories and amazing drawings! There, we played some card board games (he has so many!!) and because I’m horrible at games Nina and I lost twice D:

Therefore we were forced to take pictures of us pretending to shave our face and to sniff our armpits. The shaving one wasn’t even that bad but the armpit-sniffing-picture… was so incredibly awkward, you can’t imagine xD I just.. wanted to sniff Nina’s armpit but she would put her arm down everytime I come near her and whimper and I felt as if I was sexually harassing her!

Then we have food, a random picture taking from the inside of a bus and.. cups.

I like cups, dont judge. Btw,  = cool,  =silly/ crazy about sb. or sth.,  = sweet,  = frightened/ surprised

22nd January: Visiting Richard

Nina, Hiroki and I visited Richard and we were so confused when we first went to his apartment. There were so manybuildings and you needed your room key (in form of a card) in order to use the elevator and his apartment looked like a hotelroom with a kitchen (AND AN OVEN! Chinese homes usually don’t have ovens). Diana and Julia joined us later and we wentto the supermarket to get osmething to drink and some snacks. Hiroki bought thos little koala chocolate cookies and he keptshaking the box for probalby half and hour and even made us shake that box just so he could show us that all thos cute littlekoalas would transform into a sticky ball which everyone refuses to eat… Thanks dude. In the end, we just cut it in a fewpieces and tried to eat it. Trust me, it tastes better when you don’t shake the box for an eternity. Anyway, we also orderedsome dinner and watched the reality TV show “Where are we going, Dad?” “爸爸去哪儿?” which made me want to havechildren… They are so adorable!

Nina, Hiroki and I decided spontaneously to stay over and while we were watching the second episode Nina fell asleep…Btw, Nina is cuddling with Richard’s crocodile plush toy and she wouldn’t give it to anyone else! Seriously, she was holding onto it and whining “I’m not a child! I’m an adult and totally mature!” which of course was very convining xD
Random photos of Totoro, food, a car with a One Piece sticker and more food 😀

20th January: Miss Granny – The Chinese Version 重返20岁

I went to the cinema after a long time with Barbara and we watched Miss Granny 重返20岁 and although I have to admitthat I just wanted to watch the movie because of Lu Han 鹿晗 but I couldn’t help liking female lead actress Yang Zishan 杨子姗. She’s so pretty and such a great actress and on top of that she even knows how to sing and it sounds simply wonderful! The movie made me laugh a lot and I really liked the music, especially the song which compares love to a subway station… xD But seriously, the music was nice and it made me cry at the end T^T

19th January: Going back to Beijing

Nina, Chen Yin 陈尹 and I took the train back to Beijing and because we couldn’t get any tickets with seats… We had to stand. For 10 hours. But it wasn’t too bad, we could kind of sit on our luggage and the people who know Nina and me know that we can literally sleep anywhere. On top of that there were also people who pitied us and let us sit for like half an hour :D"

Since we had quite a lot of time to spend, Nina and i decided to renew our Roommate Agreement and now its a Distant Roommate Agreement. You know, since we dont really live together in a room anymore because I finally have my own room withn my own bathroom but we live in the same dorm Yeah

  1. Nina is allowed to shower in my bathroom and if I want to she has to bring me food to my room.
  2. Nina is allowed to practice table tennis in my room and therefore has to treat me to a meal once a month.
  3. Watch a Chinese movie (Friday) once every two weeks.
  4. Watch a Ghibli Film once a month (with Chinese subtitles).
  5. Whoever speaks German has to treat the other to egg tarts. (Except when other Germans are around or when one has to explain a word)
  6. Read a bedtime story every Sunday evening.
  7. Contract is valid from 19th January 2015 until we move out.
When we finally arrived in Beijing Nina and I got to open a small package and it’s such a wonderful gift and we were so touched >///< It’s a photo album with an incredibly creative Christmas story 😀 Thanks to Shuk TingTing TingJenniferDanielKai and Michelle for such a wonderful present ❤

17th January: Ice and Snow World 冰雪大世界

Harbin is famous for its ‘International Snow and Ice Sculpture Festival’, so in the afternoon, we went to the ‘Ice and Snow World 冰雪大世界’ and spent the rest of the day there.
The area is huge and we got to see so many ice sculptures and those snow sculptures were gigantic, probably from 5 to 10 meters! There was also a castle made out of ice and while I thought that it looked pretty cool I couldn’t imagine that we could enter the castle and even walk upstairs!

17th January: More Photos From Harbin 哈尔滨

In the morning, we just walked around most of the time. Nothing too exciting, when we suddenly saw people shooting for a movie or a drama? And I have honestly no idea what went through our heads when we suddenly decided to just grab their props, when the actors and the staff members went for lunch…. But yeah, now we have a photo holding swords from some historical movie/drama 😀 Not sure how to feel about that…
