I did it! I really went to USJ, while they were having Attack on Titans special
Yosuke was a great help, he booked the bus to Osaka, organized the tickets and the hostel! I’m so grateful for this! We went together with Pierre and Kevin, and arrived around 7 AM in Osaka and got to USJ around 9 AM. As you can see on the photo it was super crowded, even though the theme park hasn’t even opened yet!
If I was rich, I would have bought so much stuff there… but everything was so expensive T_T
We didn’t go on any rides because you always had to wait 1,5 hours and, for us, that was too much time. But Yosukebought tickets for a special in advance, so we went to a “Resident Evil Game”, which was probably the best thing I’ve experienced in Japan! You have no idea how awesome that is, seriously if you ever get the chance to go to USJ, go to that “Resident Evil Game”, BEST THING EVER! It was so much fun and so worth the money.
First, your group is given an iPad and a small suitcase, which is locked. Good thing the iPad had other language settings besides Japanese, so I could actually understand what I was supposed to do. Basically, you’re given quests and you have to solve the riddles on the iPad. Because we had no common language (Kevin and Pierre know Japanese, English and German, Yosuke knows Japanese and Chinese and I know German, English, Chinese) we needed more time just to communicate.
Anyway, first your led to a room which kind of looks like a TV station and a moderator explains everything (like you have to find the anti-virus for that zombie infection) but suddenly lights go out and zombies enter, not just from the doors but also from above and that scared the living hell out of me. So I kind of.. screamed really loud and hold onto Pierre. After I got over the shock we were asked to enter another room in order to find clues to solve those riddles. But there wasn’t just one room but 3 floors with I have no idea how many rooms. So we were busy looking for clues and I got scared multiple times by the same zombie lying on the floor <_<
There was also a room, where lockers basically separated the room, so you couldn’t see if anything was behind them and of course a zombies was behind them. But we were looking at a picture and our backs were facing those lockers and suddenly that zombie came out growling and banging this lockers and I’ve never been so scared xD” I also remember a room which you could only enter by entering another room because the door was locked and in that one was a zombie sitting on a couch and not doing anything. I have no idea why I was walking in the front but as soon as I saw that zombie I walked backwards and tried to get away from it… In the end that zombie didn’t do anything but I’m just not good with stuff suddenly jumping out.
Anyway, in the end we got the anti-virus but didn’t get the weapon because our time ran out and it was “game over” for us.
We spent 1,5 hours in that building and I don’t think I’ve ever been so thrilled in my entire life.
Everything looked so cool and I definitely would have bought a cloak, if it wasn’t so expensive…
