After having breakfast Shuk Ting and I went to 昂坪 360 Ngong Ping 360, a tourist attraction on Lantau Island, whichconsists of a cable car journey and a themed village. Shuk Ting and I decided to take the Crystal Cable Car, which costs abit more than a normal one because the ground of the cable car is transparent. Was it worth the money? It’s pretty cool forlike 5 minutes but after a while it doesn’t seem as special anymore. Nonetheless, it was a good decision because the majorityof the people chose those normal cable cars, so we didn’t have to queue as long and especial when the place was about toclose the line for the normal cable car was incredibly long. So, if you want to save time it’s definitely worth it.
天坛大佛 Tian Tan Buddha
This bronze Buddha statue is probably the most significant Lantau tourist spots and sits calmly next to
宝莲禅寺 Po Lin Monastery. There’s a flight of steps, which leads to the Buddha statue and it took us 268 steps to get there… We also had to take several breaks… But the view was breathtaking
