There’a a roller coaster called “Hair Raiser” and we both couldn’t wait to go on that ride but after seeing its loopings we decided to get on something… less exciting. In order to mentally prepare ourselves :D” So we went to a ride called “Arctic Blast” (for which you only have to a 1 metro tall), after that we starting queuing for “Hair Raiser” and while we were waiting there was someone behind us who seemed to be cutting the line but I wasn’t too sure, since I didn’t really paying attention to others. After a while someone started saying something along the lines of “Why are you even pretending to queue, why not just go to the front?” and that’s when I started paying attention. Apparently that man really did try cutting the queue and the HK guy called him out on that, which is awesome
The man started saying, that he didn’t cut the line, while the HK guy said to him “You’re basically in front of me! And you weren’t here a few minutes ago! Why are you even here, when you don’t know how to behave yourself! Are you not civilized enough to queue properly?” The man made excuses, saying “I’m not in front of you, I’m right next to you!” (Yeah.. he should be behind him but whatever)
Me ranting about queue-jumping: The man was from Mainland China and for those who don’t know, Mainlanders aren’t exactly welcomed in Hong Kong. They have a really bad reputation for not behaving properly, like randomly spitting on the street or eating noodle soups in the subway or starting fights, and that’s why the HK guy brought up the point being civilized because HK people don’t really think that Mainlanders are civilized. Although I’ve spent 2 years of my life in Mainland China and I do like the culture and people are really nice to you, when they’re your friends and very welcoming and do so much for you, but there are always exceptions and somehow they always make the headlines.
I, for example, seriously hate people cutting the line. Like, you can see it immediately how my expression changes as soon as I see people queue-jump and how angry and upset I get, and I will start arguing with them or at least tell them they’re not supposed to do that. Usually I tell them politely where the end of the line is and they come up with excuses like “Oh, I just wanted to ask something” but I just don’t understand how people can be so… shameless. I forgot what I wanted to tell you guys… I just always get so upset, when I talk about people cutting the line. Anyway, it’s a shame that some Mainlanders don’t know how to behave but the majority of the younger generation is different. I guess, older people just think that they have the right to behave the way they want to because of their age but some things are just ridiculous, like hanging your underwear on some railing in Disney Land Hong Kong… even after guards asked you not to do it =_=;
Back to the roller coaster ^^; That was awesome
I really liked the looping and I’m glad we did that! We also went to “The Rapids”, a “river ride”, where we got splashed with so much water! I remember walking around a lot because the park is quite big and we even got lost xD Sorry, I’m not really good at reading maps but I tried…

In the evening there was a water/light show, which lasted for about half an hour and it was AMZING! They were telling this story about two dragons, one that spits water and the other one spits fire. They even had a projector to literally show you the dragon “flying” as you can see in the first picture. It was incredible! These two dragons were fighting for power and there fire flames were suddenly in front of us! They told the story in three different languages! Cantonese, Mandarin and English!
Afterwards, Shuk Ting and I had dinner and mango sago as desserts
The last two pictures were at the subway and I thought they were adorable
