But they were all very nice and tried to get me involved during dinner, when Nina suddenly disappeared to send off her teacher and I stayed back because I felt awkward… They even paid for NIna and I!
Later, we went to a KTV (Karaoke room) and Nina was singing with all her soul xD seriously, I’ve never seen anyone being so passionate about KTVs… One of her classmates got so drunk that he asked me three times, if I spoke Cantonese to which I patiently responded with “yes, you’ve asked that before”. Because we were in Guangxi, a few people spoke in a mix of Standard Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese.
